People’s Emergency Briefing
Banbury Quakers invite you to a People’s Emergency Briefing – a film and discussion on the Climate and Nature Crisis.
The film is 45 minutes long. It features the UK experts who briefed MPs in November 2025 on how the Climate and Nature Crisis threatens all aspects of British life, from food supplies and health, to national security. In the film, presented by Chris Packham, members of the public and celebrities react and discuss what they’ve heard.
After this, we’ll have our own time to react and discuss, and decide what we can do about it now.
The People’s Emergency Briefing was commissioned to present some of the latest evidence and build an irresistible call for the government to stage televised emergency briefings; the essential first step towards the WW2-scale response now required.
This is a free event, with refreshments. Donations are welcome to cover costs.
